Procter and Gamble has done it again.
The 'Be the Man Your Man Could Smell Like campaign' has been a huge success.
Its catchy, fun and makes me want to buy my man Old Spice - What more could an ad do?
He starts in the shower - You want him.
He moves to a boat - You want to be him... or at least be with him.
Diamonds - You DEFINITELY want to be with him.
He is sitting on a horse - The must have humour is the icing on the cake, the grand finale.
"Back to me... Back at me" he is blatantly telling people to keep watching him and not to look away from the commercial - it works.
Congrads P&G - You got me!

A bundle of moments: Proud to be Canadian
I went to Banff last week and it made me realize what it means to be Canadian.
Through my travels to Europe, Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand... etc. I realized the beauty found in these places that I thought this country lacked.
It can be hard to appreciate something when its so close to home.
I have realized that looking and seeing are two words in a parallel universe.
During the 2010 Olympics I watched more Canadian television than I have ever watched. The Molson Canadian ad campaign as well as the Tim Horton's proud to be Canadian campaign made me see just how beautiful Canada really is.
It takes a lot for an ad to stir up emotions in a person and these ads did just that.
Then going to Banff (while trying to appreciate all the mini moments along the way... of course)...
the beauty, the serenity, the amazingness...
Its funny because for the first time saying that I am a Canadian actually means something to me.

Missing the mini moments
Missing the mini moments
Ever find yourself rushing through life? Missing the mini moments?
Sprinting through what seems like the little things? Not looking at the moments along the way?
People try to tell you how important the path is along the way but your too busy rushing through that moment to realize what they are trying to say.
Life seems so long but looking back how short does it really feel?
Where have the last 21 years gone? The mini moments have all added up to me. I am a collaboration of mini moments put into a physical being... Are the mini moments not really mini at all? Is there just one big moment called life that we see in parts to help us get through?
What did I do today? I missed many of the mini moments that tried to drill through me - I was too busy thinking of essays... tv shows... bigger moments to realize all the missed mini moments.
